First Post....Yipee!

Yay A blog post anyways.., May 10, 1985

Hey y'all, It's me Hektor (AKA ViktoriousDiem)! I really wanted to start a blog (an 'online newspaper' as my friends would say) for a while now. I am a journalistic writer and have worked for 3 school newspapers and will be taking an internship next year. I love writing, almost as much as I love politics, so why not do both? This is my ‘socialist” (I’ll get into this later) ‘newspaper’! XD, I also love literature like Tolkien or Homer but I’ve always been drawn into political literature, as a child instead of begging for books like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson (Why do people keep naming their books after the main character? What if 1984 was named Winston Smith?) I begged for a copy of The Constitution and other American Writings or my first leather bound The Communist Manifesto. I am the classic right-wing stereotype of a woke teenager brainwashed by books and *gasp* the internet. I live in Utah, yeah the Mormon one, which is a red state. Even though I will leave Utah as soon as possible, I think that living here is okay. I’m not a Mormon or Cristian but both of my parents are, my perspective on religion has little to nothing to do with my political view on the world. I have always been a ‘gifted kid’
